Workshop with Matías Gutiérrez & Aldana Figueroa
We will explore circular figures on both the open and closed sides of the embrace, and how to combine them creatively to enrich your improvisation on the social dance floor.
Matías Gutiérrez was runner-up in Milonga at the 2024 Buenos Aires Tango Championship. In 2025, he placed third in both Tango de Pista and Milonga at the Buenos Aires City Championship, and was also a finalist at the Tango World Championship. Throughout his career, he has won numerous festivals and competitions across Argentina.
Aldana Figueroa was runner-up at the 2024 Tango World Championship and placed third in Tango de Pista at the Buenos Aires City Championships in 2019, 2022 and 2025.
Together, they have established themselves as one of the leading couples in the discipline.
Since 2025, they have been dancing together, developing an artistic approach based on technique, connection and a passion for tango well grounded in the floor.
Today, they are the current two-time Champions of the Buenos Aires City Championship.
